Lead Piping Designer

As a Piping Designer for Hyperscale Data Center Modules, your role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, efficiency, and safety of the piping scope of work. You will be responsible for checking and approving drawings/designs, interface communication, and meeting customer requirements and Industrial Standards. Your key responsibilities include: - Possessing a Technical Certification in the design discipline - Having a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 9 years of experience in piping design and drafting for Data Center Modules - Demonstrating adaptability to move between piping, structural, and mechanical designs on various software programs - Producing drawings/sketches to illustrate design/ideas - Providing and checking drawings/BOM as per customer requirements - Preparing bulk MTOs and detailed BOMs with no supervision - Ensuring drawings follow Engineering and QA/QC standards - Completing various Mechanical, Piping deliverable drawings and documents Additionally, you should have general knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations relevant to piping. Familiarity with software programs like CADWorx is highly preferred, and adaptability to multiple software is a must. Fluency in written and verbal English is necessary for effective communication. Spec creation experience will be an added advantage. The company values individuals who can seamlessly transition between piping, structural, and mechanical aspects, showcasing adaptability and interest in exploring various software programs. Knowledge of Autodesk VAULT, Windchill, SAP, Solidworks, and AutoCAD is beneficial but not mandatory.,
