Lead OTT

As a Lead - OTT at Jio Media Application Operation, you will be responsible for the day-to-day Application Operation Support for the OTT Platform, including JioTV, Jio News, Jio CDN, Jio Games, Headend, and associated applications. Your role will require in-depth knowledge of OTT platforms, video streaming technologies, and content delivery networks. Additionally, you will need to have strong networking experience, preferably with one or more network certifications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring End to End Understanding of the Application operation environment - Maintenance of the Production and Replica Environment for the supported applications - Serving as the Single Point of Contact for Operational Requirements during shifts - Managing application capacity, infrastructure utilization, and configuration maintenance - Identifying challenges, risks, and initiating new initiatives to resolve issues permanently - Tracking project progress and completion with end-to-end ownership - Defining and implementing best practices and standards for Application operation Qualifications required for this role include: - Engineering Graduate with a minimum of 15 to 18 years of IT experience - 10-15 years of experience in providing Application Operations support - At least 5 years of experience in Media/TV/Content Delivery based IT application Operation Additionally, you should have expertise in: - Media codecs, formats, transports, and container protocols - Multicast and Streaming technologies - Headend Architecture and CDN architectures - People management skills and team handling experience - Application monitoring tools and configuration - Cloud technologies experience (GCP, Azure, or AWS) - Knowledge of Database Technologies (MySQL, Mongo, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Redis) - DevOps & CI/CD Automation Experience - Understanding of DR setups and Governance, Risk, and Controls Overall, as a Lead - OTT at Jio Media Application Operation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the OTT Platform and associated applications, contributing to high availability, security compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.,
