Job Description

You will be working in a techno-functional data programming role within the Risk&CFCC Data Store, Analysis & AI-backed product delivery area. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining Compliance and Financial Crime Data Store & Reporting, as well as providing AI-backed solutions. This role involves both new development projects and BAU support for legacy data products. It is essential to ensure accurate and thorough documentation of data products. - Lead data engineering/data analytics projects end-to-end, providing solutions and services addressing data delivery and accessibility - Conduct business analysis of Risk&CFCC use cases and collaborate with cross-functional teams for solution deliveries - Define data solutions by liaising with Risk Framework Owners and Reporting team - Collaborate with Technology Developers from the CIO team to implement strategic data solutions - Utilize Python and SQL programming for data solution development and debugging - Design AI Agents using Generative AI tools - Develop Presto SQL views to support data delivery and data visualization - Use tools like Jupyter Notebook, Excel Power Query, and Tableau for data programming and dashboard development - Identify, analyze, and manage data mapping and reference data - Conduct data investigations and reconciliation to support reporting needs and legacy BAU activities - Prepare solution documentation, data dictionaries, and assist in Data Quality Management - Experience in Risk - Prior experience in SQL & Python Programming - Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques and Generative AI - Strong business analysis and effective communication skills - Graduate or Post-graduate in Computer Science, Finance, or similar Quantitative Discipline - Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in Risk - Proficiency in SQL & Python Data Programming, with skills in Jupyter Notebook - Experience in Data Product Built/Delivery - Good Stakeholder management & communication skills - Ability to establish good working relationships with individuals at all levels and work effectively in a team environment - Capacity to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements Standard Chartered is an international bank that is both nimble enough to act and big enough to make an impact.
