Lead Network Engineer

As a Lead Network Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and designing the network infrastructure, including installation, setup/configuration, troubleshooting, tuning, and maintenance of networking and related equipment. Your technical expertise will be crucial in designing, deploying, and maintaining IT network infrastructure, ensuring appropriate access protection, audit control, system recovery methods, procedures, breach prevention, and awareness training. Responsibilities: - Manage and administer Palo Alto firewall environments in line with IT security policy - Manage and administer Cisco WSA - Manage Cisco Core Switches and HP Wireless system - Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network problems and outages, schedule upgrades - Secure network systems, establish and enforce policies, define and monitor access - Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments - Manage network uptime, maintain SLA within permissible limits - Ensure adherence to the change management system, document and approve all changes to the network infrastructure Mandatory Skills: - Strong expertise in Enterprise Routing and Switching Environment, 3 layer Network Architecture, Wireless Networks (Cisco/Aruba) - Knowledge of data network equipment software/version upgrade to the latest stable firmware releases - Proficient in firewall administration (Palo Alto, Cisco FTD/ASA) - Hands-on experience with Cisco Iron Port proxy servers - Experience with network configuration management and monitoring tools Competency Requirement: - Good communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities - Good planning, organizing, and time management skills Mandatory Certifications: - CCNA/CCNP: Cisco Certification - PCNSA/PCNSE: Palo Alto Certifications Qualifications: - B.E/B-Tech/MCA Location: Trivandrum, Kerala, India,
