Lead Naval Architect - Stability

As a Naval Architect/Engineer, your role involves leading and managing a team of 5 to 10 professionals. You will be responsible for enhancing the team's capabilities through regular training and recruitment support. Additionally, you will serve as a technical lead on projects, ensuring the delivery meets organizational and project quality requirements. Your interaction with the Central organization will be crucial in defining workload priorities and allocating tasks to the local team accordingly. Furthermore, your supervision and guidance will be essential for graduate engineers and Naval Architects. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of 5 to 10 Naval Architects/Engineers - Enhance team capabilities through training and recruitment support - Serve as a technical lead on projects, ensuring quality deliverables - Interact with the Central organization to define workload priorities - Supervise and guide graduate engineers & Naval Architects - Derive compartmentation of vessel for integrity and stability - Conduct naval architectural calculations and prepare stability booklets - Carry out Probabilistic Damage Stability Calculations - Estimate lightship weight and ensure weight control during design - Prepare statutory documents such as capacity plans and tonnage plan - Liaise with class for approval of booklets - Provide technical support for software development activities - Support stability team in reviewing stability booklets and inclining experiments Qualifications Required: - B.E/B.Tech or MTech in Naval Architecture Preferred Software Knowledge: - NAPA, FORAN, Maxsurf,
