Lead Mechanical Designer

As a Lead Mechanical Designer at HYA Tech Private Limited, located in Hosur, you will play a crucial role in heading the mechanical design functions for industrial automation projects. Your deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to mentor a team of designers and engineers will be essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead mechanical design activities for automation systems - Create and validate 3D/2D designs using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Inventor - Review GD&T, DFMEA/FMEA, RCA, Why-Why analysis - Optimize designs for DFM & DFA - Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis and cycle-time studies - Design jigs, fixtures, special-purpose machines - Integrate mechanisms with actuators, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics - Lead design reviews and project documentation - Coordinate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams - Mentor and guide junior engineers Qualifications Required: - B.E / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - 8-15 years of experience in the industry Skills Required: - SolidWorks - AutoCAD - Inventor - Automation Design - DFM/DFA - Tolerance Analysis - Leadership This is a permanent position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund.
