Lead Legal & HR Compliance

The position of DGM - Legal & HR Compliance at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd will require you to oversee HR statutory compliances and legal matters across all manufacturing sites in India. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting audits, and providing training to HR staff and management. You will be expected to review all legal cases across locations, provide guidance to local teams, identify corrective measures, and work on strategies to prevent similar matters in the future. Collaboration with HRBPs and Site HR Teams to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations will be essential. In terms of HR compliance, you will need to ensure adherence to all statutory regulations across all locations, conduct regular audits to assess compliance gaps, and provide necessary training and guidance to HR teams for any new statutory law or compliance requirements. Identifying potential legal and compliance risks, working closely with management to proactively address issues, and staying updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the sector will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be required to develop and deploy HR compliance policies and procedures, ensure effective communication of compliance policies, and provide training to HR teams and management on labor compliance issues. The ideal candidate for this role should hold a Bachelor's degree in Law or a Master's in HR, possess in-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and nuances across various states, and demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders is crucial for success in this position. To be considered for this role, you should have a proven track record of handling legal and HR compliance roles in the manufacturing sector with reputable organizations. A minimum of 15 years of experience in this field is preferred.,
