Lead KDB Developer, VP

Job Description: As a Lead KDB Developer, Vice President at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in designing and engineering solutions and services for Real-Time and Historical Market Data capture to support various areas of the Bank. You will lead a team of junior kdb engineers, mentor technology graduates, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver enterprise-wide Market Data solutions. Your expertise in kdb+/q/kx technology and tick architecture will be essential in developing and supporting global strategic kdb+ time-series market data platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Design and engineer solutions for Real-Time and Historical Market Data capture, supporting multiple areas of the Bank - Develop and support global strategic kdb+ time-series market data platforms - Collaborate with stakeholders from FIC Trading, FIC Strats, GED Strats, and Technology sponsors to deliver enterprise-wide Market Data solutions - Create strategic solutions considering risk, benefits, and conflicts of the situation - Design elegant solutions to complex problems meeting user & non-functional requirements - Lead junior kdb engineers, review code, and act as an escalation point for kdb technical issues Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in kdb+/q/kx technology, tick architecture, and experience with projects involving >100TB datasets - Hands-on development experience with kdb+/q on time-series market data platforms - Ability to use solution design tools and techniques to make design decision trade-offs - Familiarity with real-time and historical data from vendors like Refinitiv and Bloomberg,
