Lead Java Developer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for evaluating the business requirements and preparing detailed technical specifications for developing the system/platform. Additionally, you will have coaching responsibilities and may also have supervisory responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Learn and develop a deep understanding of the overall platform/application. - Provide strong technical supervision to the team in all assigned tasks. - Provide input and review all design-related decisions. - Enforce Code Quality Checks and Control. - Establish project schedules, assign tasks, monitor progress against schedules, and conduct technical reviews of assigned projects. - Ensure that the organization standards are followed during various phases of the software development lifecycle, also ensuring the deliveries are of the expected quality. - Study and develop a good understanding of the Functional aspects of the application. - Learn and understand technical and functional architecture and guide the team in their day-to-day tasks. - Guide the team on design and development activities. - Program hands-on for development, maintenance, and enhancements of the new & existing systems/platform. Qualifications Required: - Excellent proven knowledge of Java, Springboot, Microservices, and SQL with C# as an added advantage. - Exposure to SAAS/PAAS technologies. - Experience in UI Frameworks like React/Angular JS is an added advantage. - Domain knowledge of Investment Banking/Wealth Management would be an added advantage. - Nice to have skill set like New Relic, Kubernetes, and AWS.
