Lead - IT / Senior Lead - IT - About The Role
Lead - IT / Senior Lead - IT
Job Purpose
We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic Cloud Solution Architect responsible for:

Managing cloud architecture and leading a team of cloud engineers.

Bridging gaps between complex business problems and cloud solutions.

Playing a strategic role in maintaining all cloud systems, including front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks.

Serving as the enterprise cloud architecture lead, with hands-on implementation, architecture, and design experience in cloud IaaS/PaaS, Public/Private Cloud.

Providing infrastructure expertise on hybrid cloud, disaster recovery, SSO, security, MFA, monitoring, and management of cloud workloads.

Delivering application expertise in cloud native/cloud PaaS-based application architecture and design, big data and data warehouse on cloud, DataBricks/Data Lake, cloud integration, and smart services including AI/ML.

Applying DevOps experience, including designing CI/CD processes.

Demonstrating a solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience in designing and transferring applications to the cloud.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead a team of Cloud engineers to design and build cloud platforms and services for internal IT and external customers.

Define cloud strategy for the company.

Design specifications and Azure reference architectures.

Serve as a Microsoft Azure subject matter expert.

Provide leadership in infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques.

Perform cloud engineering assessments and implementation services.

Work closely with the cybersecurity team to monitor the company's cloud privacy.

Implement cloud governance standards ensuring cloud security, proper controls, and end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in the cloud environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

MinimumEngineering graduate.

10 - 12 years of experience with 6 - 8 years managing Azure/AWS with exposure to IaaS & PaaS services.

Mandatory s:

Docker and other container-based technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift.

Build ServersJenkins, Artifactory.

Build ToolsMaven, NPM, Shell Scripts.

Azure servicesAPI Gateway, Application Gateway, Functions, ADF, Databricks, Azure DevOps.

Linux expertise.

ProgrammingBasic Java knowledge, Groovy.

DatabasesExperience writing scripts and SQL for at least one or more of SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL.

InfrastructureApache Tomcat.

Source controlGIT.

Azure serverless, Kubernetes (AKS), and Azure Data Services (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, etc.).

Basic cloud computing knowledge or experience.

Familiarity with open source technologies on cloud services.

Expert knowledge of Linux, Chef, Puppet, and other infrastructure automation frameworks.

Experience handling teams and multiple vendors.

Proficiency with monitoring solutions for cloud.

Sound knowledge of cloud management and operations.

Thorough knowledge of ITIL framework and service-oriented mindset.

Excellent communication and leadership s.

Experience facing audit teams.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving s.
