Lead Implementation - Automation Developer

As a technically skilled and detail-oriented developer, you will be an essential part of our Technology Solutions team. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality pension calculation and automation solutions for client implementations and ongoing system operations. In addition to this, you will play a crucial role in mentoring peers and driving technical excellence across the developer community. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining pension calculations using C#, VB.NET, VBA, and related technologies. You will be required to translate client requirements into accurate and well-documented specifications and code, perform thorough unit testing, and ensure quality assurance. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions will be a significant part of your role. Leading technical discussions, supporting knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior developers will also be expected from you. Identifying opportunities to optimize performance and improve development processes is another key aspect of this position. It is vital to stay updated with pensions legislation and industry trends to ensure compliance. Proficiency in using advanced Excel features, including Macros and Add-ins, to develop and automate complex pension calculations is required. To succeed in this role, you should bring experience in developing pension calculations, strong programming skills in C#, VB.NET, VBA, SQL, and related tools. A solid understanding of UK/US pensions legislation and administration platforms is preferable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or ITIL methodologies is preferred, along with a passion for quality and innovation. We are looking for candidates with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in automation solutions, preferably Graduates or Postgraduates in BE/BTech. A must-have requirement for this position is a strong knowledge of pensions.,
