We are currently looking for a Senior .NET Application Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in application support and development using .NET Framework 4.8, ASP.NET (Web Forms/MVC), Windows Forms/WPF, SQL Server (T-SQL, performance tuning, SSMS), and Oracle (PL/SQL, SQL Developer). Proficiency in debugging and resolving production issues is essential, along with familiarity with version control systems like Git and TFS. Experience with job scheduling tools, monitoring systems, and technical writing skills for documentation are also required. Preferred skills include experience with VBScript and Excel Add-ins, knowledge of .NET Core or .NET 6+, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. As a Senior .NET Application Engineer, your responsibilities will include providing L2/L3 support for .NET-based web and Windows applications, troubleshooting and resolving application issues, collaborating with development and QA teams, maintaining and optimizing SQL Server and Oracle database queries, monitoring application health, and supporting legacy components developed in VBScript and Excel Add-ins. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive application documentation, participating in code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
