Job Description

Role Overview: As a Workday Absence and Time Tracking Functional Lead at UST Global, you will independently analyze and develop applications on ERP/CRM systems, under the supervision of an Architect, while managing a team. Your role involves designing solutions, developing technical documents, and contributing to ERP/CRM Practice activities. You will be responsible for optimizing efficiency, cost, and quality, driving customer satisfaction, and managing project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Develop technical documents such as Functional Design Specifications and Deployment documentation - Perform design document reviews, peer code reviews, and suggest code improvements - Act as a single point of contact for build and deployment issues, resolving them on time - Contribute to ERP/CRM Practice activities by assembling content for case studies and coordinating internal seminars - Select appropriate technical options for development, identify problem patterns, and improve technical design of applications/system - Implement new features in relevant technology, optimize application development, maintenance, and performance - Interpret application/feature/component design, develop the same in accordance with specifications - Code, debug, test, document, and communicate product/component/feature development stages - Validate results with user representatives, integrate and commission the overall solution - Influence and improve customer satisfaction by offering suggestions for code refactoring, improvements in business processes, and completing sprint deliverables ahead of time - Influence and improve employee engagement within project teams, set goals, measure progress, and update accordingly Qualifications Required: - Number of applicable technical/domain certifications completed - Adherence to process and standards (coding standards) - Number of mandatory trainings completed - Average time taken for turnaround on production bugs - Adherence to schedule and timelines - Contribution to RFPs and estimations in ERP/CRM Practice - Number of Junior Leads guided and unskilled to lead a technical team - Number of technical sessions conducted within practice for the benefit of peers and team members Additional Details: In this role, you will be the "go to" AMS leader for all things Workday, responsible for driving engagement, overseeing team workload, and building the UST Global Workday practice. The role requires a self-starter with an entrepreneurial flair and willingness to wear multiple hats. You will collaborate with clients, UST account teams, and internal UST product teams to ensure client satisfaction and success.
