Lead II - Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer at our Trivandrum location, with over 6 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting Java-based applications with a focus on microservices development using Spring Boot. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the product owner, lead requirements gathering, and participate in design reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality features in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and troubleshoot Java-based applications, specifically using Spring Boot and REST/SOAP services. - Lead requirement gathering, conduct technical design, and code reviews to maintain high-quality standards. - Mentor team members to ensure a high level of motivation and productivity. - Ensure timely delivery of features with high quality to meet customer expectations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. - Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and maintain a strong understanding of customer needs. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL, and web services. - Experience working with cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS. - Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. - Experience with frontend technologies like Angular and AJAX. - Familiarity with tools like Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence. - Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
