Job Description

Role Overview: As an experienced Salesforce Heroku Developer, your role will involve leading and supporting Salesforce Cloud to AWS migration initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting Heroku applications integrated with Salesforce CRM, as well as leading the technical implementation of Salesforce Cloud to AWS migration projects. Additionally, you will re-architect existing Heroku apps to align with AWS infrastructure, develop APIs, data pipelines, and middleware for seamless integration, and collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to build scalable CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshooting and optimizing performance for Heroku-based services and AWS-hosted components will also be part of your responsibilities. Documenting solutions, architecture, and code will be essential to ensure delivery best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and support Heroku applications integrated with Salesforce CRM - Lead the technical implementation of Salesforce Cloud to AWS migration projects - Re-architect existing Heroku apps or services to align with AWS infrastructure - Develop APIs, data pipelines, and middleware for seamless integration between Salesforce, Heroku, and AWS - Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to build scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines - Troubleshoot and optimize performance for Heroku-based services and AWS-hosted components - Document solutions, architecture, and code as part of delivery best practices Qualification Required: - Experience in Ruby - Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Heroku platform and Ruby on Rails - Experience in migrating apps/services from Salesforce Cloud or Heroku to AWS - Proficiency in Apex, Heroku Connect, Postgres, and API integration - Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, etc. - Knowledge of microservices and containerization (Docker/ECS/EKS) - Strong scripting/programming skills in Node.js, Python, or Java - Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) Additional Details of the Company: The company is seeking an experienced Salesforce Heroku Developer to play a key role in leading and supporting Salesforce Cloud to AWS migration initiatives. The ideal candidate should have deep experience with Heroku, Salesforce CRM, and cloud integration, along with a strong understanding of migrating cloud-based applications and services to AWS infrastructure. The candidate will be expected to have mandatory skills in Ruby, Salesforce Heroku platform, and Ruby on Rails, as well as experience in migrating apps/services to AWS. Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Platform Developer / Heroku Architecture Designer certification, experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments, and experience in Agile/Scrum teams and DevOps culture.,
