Job Description

Role Overview: As a Workday Absence and Time tracking Functional Consultant at UST, you will play a key role in Workday engagements by collaborating with clients and UST account teams throughout the implementation, support, and delivery phases. Your responsibilities will include handling day-to-day team operations, creating internal training materials, supporting client satisfaction, and leveraging internal capabilities for successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the requirements and user stories to estimate effort and size for projects - Contribute to the design and architecture of applications, features, and business components - Define coding standards, templates, and checklists while performing code reviews - Create and review unit test cases, scenarios, and execution plans - Manage defects by performing root cause analysis, identifying trends, and improving quality - Supervise the delivery of modules and user stories within projects - Generate and review documentation including design processes and test cases - Report task statuses and comply with project-related reporting standards - Contribute to project-related documents and review reusable content - Execute and monitor the release process and interface with customers for design options and implementation reviews - Advise software developers on design and development with a deep understanding of business problems - Mentor and manage team members by setting goals, providing feedback, and ensuring upskilling and engagement - Maintain high motivation levels and positive dynamics in the team while working under pressure and handling multiple tasks effectively - Interface with other teams, designers, and practices to drive impactful technical presentations and maintain high business etiquette - Drive conference calls with customers, offer and ask for help proactively, and meet deliverables on time with quality Qualification Required: - 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday and a minimum of 3+ years in Absence/Time tracking - Prior experience in related HRMS such as Oracle or Peoplesoft is an added advantage - Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality - Workday certification in one or more HCM modules is a bonus Additional Details: The Workday Absence and Time tracking Functional Consultant role at UST involves direct client interaction, team operations management, internal training material creation, and collaboration with internal product teams to ensure successful project outcomes. You will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures while supporting and promoting UST values.,
