Job Description

As a Java SDET at UST, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing processes. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect in this role: **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests using Java, TestNG, and Cucumber. Your focus will include API testing with REST Assured, developing CI/CD pipelines, working with Kubernetes for containerized environments, and monitoring test results using Kibana and Grafana. Collaboration with developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve defects will be key, along with contributing to the improvement of testing processes through code reviews. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, TestNG, and Cucumber. - Perform API testing using REST Assured. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing. - Work with Kubernetes to deploy and test applications in containerized environments. - Monitor and analyze test results using Kibana and Grafana. - Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve defects. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing processes. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in software development and testing. - Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks. - Experience working in an Agile development environment.
