Job Description

You are a skilled Release Control Analyst with 5-8 years of experience in Build and Release Management, Configuration Management, and Compliance & Governance. Your expertise includes working with SQL Server, .NET Framework, Azure DevOps, and Cosmos DB to develop automated workflows and integrations. Your role is crucial in planning and executing software releases efficiently while ensuring compliance with industry best practices and governance standards. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating and executing software releases across different environments, ensuring adherence to release processes to minimize risks and downtime, documenting all release activities, and maintaining release schedules. You will also manage build processes, implement CI/CD pipelines, oversee configuration management, and optimize release automation and integration processes. Furthermore, you will focus on database release automation, particularly with SQL Server and Cosmos DB, to ensure compliance with governance policies, perform risk assessments, and implement security best practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline release cycles, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve release management processes will be key aspects of your role. Key Skills required for this position include expertise in SQL Server, .NET Framework, Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, automation and integration, and compliance & governance. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is essential to qualify for this role. Your strong technical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills will enable you to excel in this position. Your willingness to work in a UK Shift and provide on-call support when necessary showcases your dedication to supporting the team and ensuring successful software releases.,
