Lead I - Data Science

The ideal candidate for the Data Scientist position should have a strong foundation in data analysis, statistical models, and machine learning algorithms. You will be responsible for analyzing large, complex datasets to extract insights and determine appropriate techniques to use. Building predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and conducting A/B tests to assess the effectiveness of models will be part of your job responsibilities. Collaborating with different teams and stakeholders to understand business needs and devise possible solutions is crucial. It is important to stay updated with the latest technology trends in data science and develop and implement real-time machine learning models for various projects. Engaging with clients and consultants to gather and understand project requirements and expectations is essential. Writing well-structured, detailed, and compute-efficient code in Python to facilitate data analysis and model development is a key aspect of the role. Utilizing IDEs such as Jupyter Notebook, Spyder, and PyCharm for coding and model development is also required. Presenting forecast results using data visualization techniques using Matplotlib, Power BI, and/or Tableau is part of the job responsibilities. Applying agile methodology in project execution, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives to enhance team collaboration and efficiency is expected. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Skills required for this role include proficiency in Python, Core ML, and SQL.
