Job Description

As a Software Developer in this role, you will be responsible for the following key areas: - Develop & Deliver: - Building applications, features, and components according to design specifications. - Ensuring high-quality code that meets coding standards and project timelines. - Testing & Debugging: - Writing, reviewing, and executing unit test cases. - Debugging code and validating results with users. - Supporting defect analysis and mitigation. - Technical Decision Making: - Selecting optimal technical solutions, including reusing or creating components to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality. - Documentation & Configuration: - Creating and reviewing design documents, templates, checklists, and configuration management plans. - Ensuring team compliance with the documentation and configuration processes. - Domain Expertise: - Understanding customer business domain deeply to advise developers. - Identifying opportunities for value addition and obtaining relevant certifications. - Project & Release Management: - Managing delivery of modules/user stories and estimating efforts. - Coordinating releases and ensuring adherence to engineering processes and timelines. - Team Leadership: - Setting goals (FAST), providing feedback, and mentoring team members. - Maintaining motivation and effectively managing people-related issues. - Customer Interaction: - Clarifying requirements and presenting design options to customers. - Conducting demos and building customer confidence through timely and quality deliverables. - Technology Stack: - Expertise in Big Data technologies such as PySpark and Scala. - Preferred skills in AWS services (EMR, S3, Glue, Airflow, RDS, DynamoDB), CICD tools (Jenkins), relational & NoSQL databases, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). In addition to the mentioned skills, you should have expertise in Big Data technologies like PySpark and Scala.
