Lead Engineer

Role Overview: As a Lead Engineer for a leading ERP solutions provider, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery of various web-based projects. Your expertise in PHP, web development, MySQL, DevOps, and GitHub will be crucial in leading a team of developers, ensuring code quality, and successfully executing projects. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using PHP and related technologies. - Manage MySQL database architecture, optimization, and performance tuning. - Oversee code reviews, testing strategies, and maintain high standards of code quality and security. - Handle DevOps tasks such as CI/CD pipelines, deployment, monitoring, and incident response. - Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, and release processes. - Act as the primary technical point of contact to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business requirements. - Collaborate with QA to define testing frameworks and strategies. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack from code to infrastructure. - Coordinate and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to meet business goals. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience in PHP development with a preference for Laravel, Symfony, or similar frameworks. - Strong expertise in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and RESTful APIs. - Hands-on experience with MySQL for queries, indexing, and optimization. - Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices like Docker, CI/CD, Nginx/Apache configuration, and cloud services. - Advanced knowledge of Git/GitHub workflows. - Proven ability to manage technical projects and lead a team. - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. - Strong communication and documentation skills.
