Lead Engineer QA- Automation-Python

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. As a QA Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, and providing essential feedback for each stage of development to ensure our CSM (Collaborative Surgical Management) software meet quality standards.

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, scripts, test plans, and procedures for manual and automated testing.


• Collaborate with software developers, product owners, and project managers to understand software requirements and design appropriate test strategies.


• Conduct thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and confirm fixes.


• Work closely with the development team to identify and document software defects and ensure timely resolution.


• Develop and maintain automated tests, leveraging frameworks such as Jest for front-end and Mocha or Jest for back-end.


• Utilize testing tools like Selenium or Cypress to conduct end-to-end automated testing.


• Maintain quality assurance standards and enhance testing processes to align with best industry practices.


• Prepare test data and test environments necessary for executing test cases.


• Provide clear and concise feedback to the development team, participate in stand-ups, and collaborate in all Agile ceremonies.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


• Proven work experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role with 6 to 8 YOE.


• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.


• Experience with testing frameworks and tools, e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress, and Selenium.


• Familiarity with Agile frameworks, continuous integration pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).


• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking abilities.


• Solid understanding of software quality assurance processes and methodologies.

• Experience with PWA testing and debugging.


• Knowledge of Docker or similar containerization tools.


• Familiarity with TypeScript and understanding of type safety in testing.


• Experience with testing APIs and back-end services using tools such as Postman or similar.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.


• Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously.
