Lead Engineer - Java Backend Development

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Technology team at DISH Network Technologies India Pvt. Ltd, a technology subsidiary of EchoStar. As a key member of the team, you will be involved in challenging the status quo, reimagining capabilities across industries, and connecting consumers with the products and platforms of tomorrow through research and development, technology innovation, and solution engineering. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the Product Owner to design and develop Restful Services, conduct data analysis, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. - Drive complex technical projects from planning to execution, providing technical hands-on leadership, and mentoring engineers in an innovative and fast-paced environment. - Handle daily challenges in the technical environment, guide the team in resolving technical issues, perform code reviews, and manage technical debt. - Manage release deployments and production issues, encourage and identify automation opportunities, and implement CI/CD pipeline. Qualifications Required: - An engineering degree with at least 8 years of experience in application development using Java/J2EE technologies. - Proficiency in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and Linux. - Experience in designing and developing REST-based services and MicroService development. - Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps practices. - Proficiency in container management tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher. - Experience in delivering projects in an agile environment using SCRUM methodologies. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.,
