Lead Engineer I (.Net Full Stack)

Role Overview: At PowerSchool, the Software Engineering team is looking for a skilled individual to lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack web applications using .NET technologies. As a part of the Research & Development (R&D) team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless use of products and maintaining consistency for customers. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack web applications using .NET technologies. - Guide and mentor a team of developers, ensuring best coding practices and architectural standards. - Review and optimize existing code to enhance performance and maintainability. - Stay updated with the latest .NET technologies and industry trends. - Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Implement unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing strategies. - Ensure compliance with security best practices and data protection policies. - Identify and mitigate technical risks in application development. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues efficiently. - Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with front-end applications. - Participate in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum. - Assist and analyze security best practices. - Work as part of an Agile SCRUM team in the planning, scoping, estimation, and execution of technical solutions. - Provide the team with direction on technological changes. - Mentor and coach employees, be the first level response for employee questions, and lead team meetings. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technologies required, or equivalent experience. - 9+ years" experience in a software engineer role. - Expertise in C#, ASP .NET Core, MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework. - Strong front-end development skills in React/Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3. - Hands-on experience with SQL Server databases. - Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. - Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, Identity Server. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence. - Excellent ability to work in a changing, dynamic environment. - Ability to provide accurate and reliable estimates. - Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.,
