Lead Engineer 4G/5G Packet Core & IMS

Role Overview: As a Lead Engineer specializing in 4G/5G Packet Core & IMS, your primary role will involve deployment, configuration, testing, integration, and support of 4G/5G Packet Core and IMS product stacks in cloud-native environments. You will collaborate closely with product engineering and customer teams to deliver telecom solutions compliant with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Deploying and configuring 4G EPC, 5G Core (NSA/SA), and IMS components in environments such as OpenStack, Kubernetes, or OpenShift. - Automating deployments using tools like Ansible, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient deployments across various environments. - Developing and executing test plans for functional, performance, and interoperability testing, using telecom tools like Spirent for validation and KPI tracking. - Integrating network elements such as MME, SGW, PGW, AMF, SMF, UPF, HSS, PCRF, and CSCF for seamless interworking of legacy and cloud-native network functions. - Involvement in release management, version control, release cycles, rollout strategies, and maintaining detailed release documentation. - Providing technical documentation such as high-level and low-level design documents, Method of Procedure (MoP) & SOPs, deployment guides, technical manuals, and release notes. - Field support and troubleshooting, collaboration with product development teams, and participation in sprint planning, reviews, and feedback sessions. Qualification Required: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. - Deep understanding of 4G/5G Packet Core and IMS architecture and protocols. - Experience with cloud-native platforms. - Strong scripting skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Strong troubleshooting abilities.,
