As a part of Qualcomm India Bangalore Development Center's dedicated team for the Connected Infotainment segment, you will be involved in cutting-edge Wireless, Multimedia, and Embedded technologies to transform the relationship between cars and digital lifestyles. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on connectivity solutions integrated with the latest infotainment systems, making travel safer, more enjoyable, and efficient. Your contributions will impact the connected car programs of leading automakers globally. **Key Responsibilities:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years, or PhD with 1+ year - 2+ years of experience with programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python - 5 to 8 years of experience in embedded software Audio driver development - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and debugging skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with teams across multiple time zones - Proficiency in C/C++ programming, Device Driver Programming in Linux/RTOS, and industry-standard software development tools - Solid knowledge of Android Audio Framework, Audio HAL, ALSA, and DSP drivers - Experience in audio/video processing pipeline implementation for media applications, audio and voice codecs, and pre- and post-processing algorithms **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - 3+ years of Software Engineering experience for Bachelor's degree, 2+ years for Master's degree, 1+ year for PhD - Strong experience with programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python - 5 to 8 years of work experience in embedded software Audio driver development - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and debugging skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with teams across multiple time zones Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
