Role Overview: Zenoti, a cloud-based software solution provider for the beauty and wellness industry, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Software Engineer at Zenoti, you will play a crucial role in designing and evolving the highly scalable, cloud-native product architecture. You will lead the development of robust microservices and APIs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive platform-wide initiatives to ensure engineering excellence and customer impact. Key Responsibilities: - Design and evolve Zenoti's highly scalable, cloud-native product architecture using Microsoft technologies (.NET Core, C#). - Lead the development of robust, extensible, and distributed microservices and APIs to power mission-critical features. - Architect and implement containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes for portability and resilience across environments. - Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and evaluate tools to enhance performance, scalability, and developer productivity. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software. - Develop architecture artifacts and design documents using UML or similar standards. - Contribute hands-on across the full stack, integrating with SQL and NoSQL databases and ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. - Build scalable systems that can handle millions of records and terabytes of data, supporting annual growth. - Release new features into production frequently and iterate based on customer feedback. - Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, performance tuning, and backend optimization. - Drive platform-wide initiatives such as automation testing, cost optimization, log reduction, and AI adoption. - Mentor and coach junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. - Promote best practices in software development, CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and agile methodologies. - Communicate architectural decisions and technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and engineering teams. Qualifications Required: - 9+ years of professional experience in software engineering with expertise in backend development and system architecture. - Proficiency in C#, .NET, .NET Core, and microservices design patterns. - Experience in designing and developing distributed systems using event-driven architecture and messaging platforms. - Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). - Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), RESTful APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, and jQuery. - Understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and modeling techniques. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills. - Outstanding communication and presentation abilities. - Organizational and leadership skills with attention to detail. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
