Job Description

We are seeking an experienced iSeries Technical Lead with 6-9 years of experience to handle end-to-end project phases, including development, production support, and technical leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in RPGLE/CLLE, DB2/400, SQL, and ILE concepts, with proven ability to manage teams, perform coding, testing, and client coordination in Agile or SDLC environments.

Responsibilities:

Analyze high-level requirements and participate in estimation and requirement discussions with BAs.
Handle end-to-end project phases including development, production support, SIT/UAT, release support, and post-production support.
Lead a technical team (minimum size 5), review designs, code, test plans, and results.
Perform technical design, estimation, coding, unit testing, and peer reviews.
Coordinate with clients and IT stakeholders for smooth project deployments.
Prepare technical design documents, release documentation, and provide post-warranty support.
Resolve job-related issues, critical tickets, and ensure SLA maintenance.
Mentor new joiners and laterals to share technical and domain knowledge.
Work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and adapt to changing project demands.
Experience with Connect Direct or SFTP, insurance applications, and L0 analysis/estimations is preferred.
