Lead Designer - BIM Structures

As a BIM Structural Modeler at Jacobs, you will be part of multi-disciplinary project teams, providing drafting support for technically challenging projects. Your responsibilities will include creating 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring technical quality, compliance with project objectives, and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work on detailed drawings for a range of projects to create 2D drawings and 3D models - Support, mentor, and train other members of the drafting team in accomplishing complex tasks - Coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for BIM documentation and drafting work in a given project - Ensure technical correctness, project standard compliance, and timely delivery of drawings and documents - Exercise self-discipline and work ethics - Respect and follow company policies and procedures - Liaise with Architecture, MEP, and other disciplines - Familiarity with Programs REVIT Archi and REVIT MEP for coordination of models, Navisworks for checking of models - In-depth knowledge of building structural elements - BIM Knowledge as per best-industry practice, hands-on experience in 3D modeling and scheduling, multi-D coordination and documentation, BIM setup for a project, and execution and monitoring **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in preparing minimum LOD 300 REVIT Documentation (3D and 2D) - Proficiency in creating general arrangement drawings, Composite steel drawings, Structural Steel Drawings, Reinforcement Drawings, and Reinforcement Detailing - Experience in Precast will be an advantage - Must have experience on international projects - Self-motivated, team player, and able to work independently with minimum supervision - Experience in BIM management is a preferred additional skill At Jacobs, the company values people and believes in the right balance of belonging, career, and lifestyle to consistently deliver and exceed clients" expectations.
