As a Lead Design Engineer specializing in Civil & Structural for Substation Switchyard & Power Transmission projects, your primary role will involve: - Performing structural analysis and design for AIS/GIS substations, control room buildings, and associated civil elements. - Designing transformer, tower, and girder foundations. - Developing drawings for outdoor equipment foundations, guard houses, staff quarters, grading, roads, and drainage systems. - Designing outdoor steel structures and other miscellaneous works related to substations and cabling. - Coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of design packages. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 10-15 years of relevant experience in the Substation Switchyard & Power Transmission industry. - Strong knowledge of structural and civil engineering design codes and standards. - Proficiency in design software and drafting tools such as STAAD Pro, STAAD, Etabs, and AutoCAD. - Experience in end-to-end design from concept to detailed engineering.
