Lead Design Engineer Civil & Structural for MNC-Chennai.

As a Lead Design Engineer specializing in Civil & Structural projects for Substation Switchyard & Power Transmission, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Conducting structural analysis and design for AIS/GIS substations, control room buildings, and associated civil elements. - Designing transformer, tower, and girder foundations. - Developing drawings for outdoor equipment foundations, guard houses, staff quarters, grading, roads, and drainage systems. - Creating designs for outdoor steel structures and other miscellaneous works related to substations and cabling. - Coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of design packages. To qualify for this position, you should meet the following criteria: - 10-15 years of relevant experience in the Substation Switchyard & Power Transmission industry. - Strong knowledge of structural and civil engineering design codes and standards. - Proficiency in design software and drafting tools such as STAAD Pro, STAAD, Etabs, and AutoCAD. - Experience in end-to-end design process from concept to detailed engineering.,
