Lead Data Visualization Developer

We are looking for a Lead Visualisation Developer to join our Data Visualisation team at Jet2, one of the UK's largest airlines and tour operators. Based in our Technology and Innovation Centre in Pune, India, you will play a key role in delivering impactful data visualisation projects using Tableau. Your responsibilities will include leading the Jet2TT visualisation function and collaborating with various departments such as Pricing & Revenue, Overseas Operations, and Contact Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to represent visualisation and influence key business decisions. As part of the broader Data function, you will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts to gather requirements and scope visualisation projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of Tableau dashboards, ensuring the team has the necessary resources to start development, and guiding them through the visualisation delivery process. Additionally, you will support the visualisation Enablement team in releasing new Tableau features. Key Responsibilities: - Independently work on data visualisation projects with minimal guidance - Collaborate with stakeholders in Pune, Leeds, and Sheffield - Represent visualisation during project scoping - Work with Business Analysts and Product Owners to understand and scope requirements - Ensure data models are suitable for visualisation in collaboration with Data Engineers and Architects - Develop Tableau dashboards from gathering requirements to presenting to internal stakeholders - Support and guide team members through visualisation delivery - Assist in feature releases for Tableau - Educate colleagues on new Tableau features and best practices Requirements: - Extensive experience in Tableau with a strong Tableau Public portfolio - Expertise in data visualisation delivery - Proficiency in requirements gathering and presenting visualisations - Strong understanding of data visualisation best practices - Experience in Agile Scrum framework - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Knowledge of Data Engineering and Data Warehousing on Cloud Platforms - Familiarity with Cloud Data Warehouse platforms, preferably Snowflake - Experience with various databases, such as SQL If you are passionate about data visualisation and seeking a challenging role where you can make a significant impact, we would love to hear from you.
