**Job Description:** **Role Overview:** You are sought after to be the Lead Data Scientist at PvX Partners, where you will play a crucial role in spearheading data science and AI initiatives within the global gaming and mobile app ecosystem. This leadership position involves defining the vision for data science at PvX, while also staying actively involved in coding, model development, and experimentation. Your responsibilities will include leading and mentoring a team of 23 data scientists, driving innovation in ROAS forecasting and optimization across various gaming and mobile app segments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define the long-term vision for data science at PvX and translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps. - Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 23 data scientists to foster technical excellence and professional growth. - Collaborate closely with C-level executives, product leaders, and client teams to ensure alignment of data science and AI initiatives with business objectives. - Introduce new methodologies, frameworks, and best practices to enhance PvX Lambda's forecasting and optimization capabilities. - Develop advanced forecasting models to project monthly revenues from acquired cohorts and design simulation frameworks to evaluate revenue outcomes under different marketing plans. - Analyze user acquisition campaign performance across major channels to identify inefficiencies and optimize ad creatives. - Partner with client teams to provide actionable recommendations for budget allocation, creative strategy, and channel mix. - Generate insights into monetization levers such as In-App Purchases (IAP), In-App Advertising (IAA), and Real Money Gaming (RMG) for sustainable growth. **Qualifications Required:** - 8-10 years of hands-on experience in building and deploying ML models, with a track record in marketing, gaming, or consumer tech domains. - Proven success in leading and scaling technical teams, driving projects from conception to production, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders at senior levels. - Strong grasp of free-to-play mechanics, monetization models, and player behavior in the gaming domain. - Expert-level proficiency in Python and modern ML ecosystem tools. - Deep understanding of causal inference, experimental design, A/B testing, and advanced model evaluation techniques. - Solid expertise in user acquisition metrics and attribution methodologies. - Ability to balance hands-on technical work with setting long-term data science vision aligned with business goals. **About Uplers:** Uplers aims to simplify and expedite the hiring process by assisting talents in finding and applying for relevant contractual onsite opportunities to advance their careers.
