Lead Data Scientist

As a Lead Data Scientist at Cognitio Analytics, you will play a crucial role in driving business outcomes through the power of data analytics and insights. Your contributions will be key in making data-informed decisions, identifying growth opportunities, and propelling our organization to new levels of success. You will lead and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering an innovative environment for collaboration and learning. Your expertise in programming languages such as Python and R, along with proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization libraries, will be essential for guiding strategic initiatives. Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and feature engineering will enable you to build and deploy machine learning models effectively. Experience with frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch will be valuable for handling projects with end-to-end ownership. - Lead data science projects and teams, managing timelines and delivering results within deadlines. - Translate data insights into tangible business outcomes and drive data-informed decision-making. - Collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, build relationships, and foster a culture of continuous learning. - Utilize statistical modeling techniques such as regression, clustering, time series analysis, and hypothesis testing. - Doctorate/Master's/bachelor's degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, commerce, or a related field. - Minimum of 6 years of experience working as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role, with experience leading data science projects and teams. - Experience in the Healthcare domain, including exposure to clinical operations, financial, risk rating, fraud, digital, sales and marketing, and wellness, e-commerce, or the ed tech industry. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, with expertise in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization libraries. - Deep understanding of ML and Deep Learning, along with experience with frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. - Experience in building & deploying machine learning models in a cloud environment, with Microsoft Azure preferred (Databricks, Synapse, Data Factory, etc.). - Strong collaboration skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to understand business objectives and strategic priorities.,
