Job Description

As a Data Migration Specialist at Clearwater, you play a crucial role in enhancing the system's automation, speed, accuracy, and workflow. You utilize tools such as Excel and SQL to collect and analyze data, resolving issues and discrepancies. Your optimization efforts greatly improve the efficiency of onboarding client data at Clearwater. Collaborating closely with talented development teams, you devise creative strategies to simplify the process and cut down delivery times. The commitment lies in establishing processes that are replicable and adaptable, enabling effortless accommodation of the expanding client base. Responsibilities: - Apply acquired skills, procedures, and decision-making best practices to resolve various issues. - Load and validate client data into the Clearwater investment account system as the primary responsibility. - Demonstrate a working knowledge of Clearwater Way methodologies to implement and onboard clients, including aligning and supporting CW's Client Engagement Model. - Identify opportunities for improvement and take the lead in implementing solutions for continuous service improvement. - Apply understanding of accounting equation, amortization, interest income, and other accounting concepts. - Utilize understanding of data intake, normalization, reconciliation, and reporting workflow. - Apply understanding of vanilla fixed income and equity investments, comprehending their purpose and functionality within CW. - Understand and apply Clearwater's core value proposition (aggregate, reconcile, report) in a market- and client-agnostic manner. - Coordinate complex activities effectively within a dynamic and agile environment. Required Skills: - Strong foundation in accounting knowledge. - Advanced Excel proficiency. - Advanced experience with SQL or other relational databases. - Advanced securities or financial markets knowledge, especially involving derivatives, alternatives, structured products, and/or fixed income. - Project Management Skills (ex. project lead). - Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. - Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. - Exceptional problem-solving abilities and math expertise. Education and Experience: - Bachelors and/or Masters in finance or math, accounting, economics. - 4+ years of relevant experience.,
