Lead Data Insight Analyst

The role at Prudential involves performing strategic analysis of structured and unstructured data from various sources. You will be responsible for developing data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize data to generate actionable insights and address reporting needs. Your role will also include defining data requirements, gathering and validating information, and supporting the creation of Data Quality rules for formal governance. Additionally, you will identify innovative opportunities to develop data insights, maximize data usage, and improve business performance. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert, you will provide complex Business Intelligence solutions involving SQL and Python, guiding junior team members and engaging extensively with users to understand and translate their requirements into user-friendly dashboards and insights. In this position, you will be expected to up-skill continuously, venture into Advanced Analytics, and become familiar with data science languages like Python and R. You will also be responsible for identifying and managing risks within your area of responsibility, including resolving blockers and bottlenecks. To be successful in this role, you should hold a university degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis, or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years" experience as a data analyst. Experience in analyzing mobile applications data, preparing business reports, and possessing exceptional analytical skills are essential. You should have a good understanding of the power and value of data, the ability to apply technology solutions to meet business needs, and assess stakeholder requirements to enhance customer experience. Moreover, you must display resilience under pressure, provide high-quality solutions, meet deadlines consistently, and effectively handle requests and queries from senior management. Technical requirements include demonstrable experience in data-related roles, knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing principles, and expertise in data visualization using advanced Tableau skills. Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala is necessary, along with familiarity with business tools like JIRA and Confluence.
