Data Migration Lead Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Led to oversee and execute the end-to-end migration of data from Oracle to Salesforce. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience with data migration projects in enterprise environments. This role requires hands-on involvement in data analysis, mapping, transformation, and validation, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and seamless integration with Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a comprehensive data migration strategy from Oracle to Salesforce. • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables. • Extract data from Oracle databases, ensuring completeness and accuracy. • Transform data to meet the structural and business requirements. • Utilize ETL tools and custom scripts to automate and optimize data migration processes. • Perform data cleansing, de-duplication, and enrichment activities. • Validate and reconcile migrated data to ensure consistency and accuracy. • Conduct thorough testing and resolve data integrity issues. • Work closely with functional teams, business analysts, and developers to understand data requirements. • Provide guidance to team members on best practices for data migration. • Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to project stakeholders. • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of migration processes and procedures. • Provide post-migration support to resolve data-related issues and ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum 8 years of experience in data migration, with a strong focus on Oracle systems. • Minimum 5 years of experience in data integration and data consumption. • Proven experience as a Data Migration Lead or similar role. • Strong expertise in Oracle databases and SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Data Integrator. • Proficiency with ETL tools and techniques. • Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end data migration projects. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong leadership and communication skills. Preferred: • Certification in Oracle Database or related technologies. • Familiarity with Salesforce data structures and APIs. • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards. • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting, PySpark) for data manipulation. • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies. • Analytics and ML enablement experience is highly desired
