About the Role:

Senior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain

  data pipelines

  and

  ETL processes

  using

  AWS Glue

  ,

  Lambda

  , and other AWS services.
• Develop and optimize

  Python-based data workflows

  for data ingestion, transformation, and validation.
• Orchestrate and automate complex data workflows using

  AWS Step Functions

  and

  Lambda

  .
• Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to design data models and ensure data availability and quality.
  
• Implement

  best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization

  in cloud environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data workflows to ensure reliability and scalability.
  
• Participate in

  code reviews

  ,

  architecture discussions

  , and

  process improvements

  within the data engineering team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  

• 5+ years

  of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in

  Python

  , with experience building modular, testable, and maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience with

  AWS Glue

  (ETL jobs, crawlers, Glue Studio, and Glue Catalog).
• Experience developing and managing

  AWS Lambda

  functions and

  Step Functions

  for automation and orchestration.
• Experience with Advance

  SQL.
