Lead Data Analytics Engineer

As a member of the Spatial Intelligence team at ICE Data Services, you will play a crucial role in the ambitious roadmap for US mortgage and real estate data. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, subject matter experts, and customers to develop data products for mortgage capital markets applications. - Engaging in exploratory analysis of data inputs, leading data modeling and management, and shaping end products for customers. - Taking a substantial role in prototyping and implementing new products. - Building a deep understanding of mortgage and real estate markets to evaluate data quality and accuracy. - Defining and maintaining derived data layers to support a collection of analytics products. - Sharing QA and testing responsibilities across all levels of data warehouse and analytical workflows. To excel in this role, you should have: - Strong exploratory data analysis skills in SQL and one of R, Python, or JavaScript. - Familiarity with databases and analytical tools using SQL, especially Google BigQuery. - Working knowledge of DBT or similar SQL templating systems, and DAG orchestration tools like Airflow. - An interest in AI models and experience with cloud computing cost projection and control. - Experience in analyzing US mortgage and residential real estate data. - Collaboration skills with engineering teams, prior experience as a software/data engineer or machine learning engineer preferred. - Proficiency in using git version control and critical thinking about ETL requirements. - Some experience with data visualization and statistical or ML modeling is beneficial.
