Job Summary: Wissen Technology is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and modernize cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Azure services . The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC ) , hands-on experience with AzureRM provider , and the ability to lead initiatives in infrastructure automation, modernization, and governance. This is a senior technical role that involves collaborating across teams, mentoring engineers, and ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Design, develop, and maintain Terraform HCL modules for scalable and reusable infrastructure components.  
  
• Manage and automate Azure infrastructure using the AzureRM provider and IaC principles.  
  
• Lead IaC modernization initiatives addressing deprecated arguments, upgrading provider versions, and improving code modularity.  
  
• Define and implement CI/CD workflows for infrastructure deployment and lifecycle management.  
  
• Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps, and security teams to ensure compliance with Azure governance and security best practices.  
  
• Maintain and version-control infrastructure code using Git and related CI/CD tools.  
  
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to cloud and DevOps teams.  
  
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and drive performance, scalability, and reliability improvements.  
  

Requirements:  

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Engineering.  
  
• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or site reliability roles.  
  
• Proven hands-on expertise in Terraform HCL module development and AzureRM provider.  
  
• Strong experience with Azure infrastructure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM, Monitoring, etc.).  
  
• Experience in IaC modernization, including upgrading providers and refactoring legacy Terraform codebases.  
  
• Proficiency with Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).  
  
• Strong understanding of infrastructure automation, provisioning, and configuration management.  
   
  

  Good to have skills:  

• Experience with Jsonnet, Terragrunt, or similar templating frameworks.  
  
• Knowledge of Azure security, governance, and compliance best practices.  
  
• Exposure to consulting, migration, or cloud transformation projects.  
  
• Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP).  
  
• Experience integrating monitoring, observability, and cost optimization tools .
