Job Description

Please find below a JD for a Lead Civil Structural Engineer.

Engineer with minimum 12+ experience in design and analysis of RCC & Steel Structures in a 2-D design environment in a Consulting / Engineering organization preferably in Hydrocarbon / Petro-chemical / Oil & Gas sectors.
Knowledge of applicable civil and structural design/ engineering standards covering IS, ACI, AISC, UBC, ASCE, BS etc.
Should be proficient in STAAD Pro for structural analysis and design.
Should be conversant with Auto cad.
Basic knowledge of Tekla ,SP3D & Revit will be an added advantage.
Should possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to guide the work of a group of Engineers and Designers.
Should have experience of leading a team of at least ten(10) comprising Engineer and Draftsperson for a complete project from basic design to construction.
Involvement in Development of Project specific Standard Drawings, Specification.
Understanding of Project planning, efforts-hours estimation., Scheduling activity and change management.
Ability to do design and report preparation on his own .
Checking of design documents, drawings and reports..
Knowledge of Tendering requirement, MTO, SOR preparation.
Ability to handle efficiently the changes in Design as per Client requirement.
