Key Responsibilities

Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams for integrated design solutions.

Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and design change requests.

Provide technical support to site teams during construction and resolve design-related issues.

Manage design documentation, version control, and compliance with BIM protocols.

Conduct design reviews and value engineering exercises to optimize solutions.

Mentor junior design engineers and ensure quality control of deliverables.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities for design approvals.

Support planning and scheduling of design deliverables in alignment with project timelines.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in civil design for industrial projects.

Professional certification (e.g., Chartered Engineer, PE, PMP) is an advantage.

Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and design management.

Desired Skillsets

Strong understanding of geotechnical, structural, and hydrological design principles.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with local and international design codes (IS, IRC, ACI, BS, Eurocode).

Ability to manage multiple design packages and deliver under tight deadlines.
