Lead C++ SQL

As a Senior C++ and SQL Developer at Iris Software, you will be working on challenging projects utilizing your 8+ years of proven experience in the field. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Strong proficiency in C++ with a thorough knowledge of the language specification - Proficiency in using the standard library STL, containers, and algorithms - Understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments - Knowledge of templates in C++ - Familiarity with low-level threading primitives and real-time environments - Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests - Good knowledge of Unix systems - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git - Familiarity with continuous integration - Understanding of scrum principles and sprint goals aligned with industry best practices - Collaboration skills and excellent verbal and written communication - Openness to work in the UK Shift (10 am to 9 pm IST with 8 hours of productive work) Desirable skills include good domain experience in Financial services/capital markets/investment banking and knowledge in writing Stored procedures and performance tuning.
