Lead Business Intelligence (BI) Data Architect

As a Lead Business Intelligence (BI) Data Architect at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, you will play a crucial role in managing high-performance data & analytics (D&A) technology platforms and developing business-focused solutions for a complex global organization. You will be located in Bangalore, India and be a part of the IT Enterprise Applications and Data Platforms (EADP) department. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain Beckman Coulter's enterprise BI applications, including data integration, data management, and reporting & visualizations. Furthermore, you will collaborate with various departments, manage IT projects and development teams, and work towards modernizing and enhancing the technology platform to enable self-service analytics and advanced data analysis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI applications such as data integration, data management, and reporting & visualizations. - Collaborate with different departments to understand their data and business processes and develop analytics solutions. - Manage IT projects and development teams. - Modernize and enhance the technology platform for self-service analytics and advanced data analysis. The essential requirements for this job include: - A degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or other relevant fields. - 7+ years of experience in Informatica Cloud/ETL, relational databases, SQL, Snowflake database, and HVR/data replication design and development. - Experience integrating OLTP systems into a data warehouse. - Proficiency in visualization and reporting applications like Oracle Analytics and Power BI. - Knowledge of functional processes such as Logistics, Finance, Service, Sales, and Order Management. It would be advantageous if you also have experience in: - Python, machine learning, and other data science toolsets. - Traditional and Agile project lifecycle frameworks. - Data catalogs, data virtualization, master data management (MDM), or other data governance and modeling concepts and tools.
