Lead Backend Engineer

You are a Senior Backend Engineer with 7+ years of experience sought by Commotion to build scalable backend systems. You should have proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Data, along with experience in Elasticsearch, Kafka, Redis, and Apache Spark. Your expertise in multi-threaded and distributed systems, SQL and non-relational databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus. - Design and build scalable services using Java and related technologies for backend development. - Work with Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Redis for real-time data processing in data integration. - Optimize systems for scalability and performance using Apache Spark for performance optimization. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and resolve issues. - Guide and mentor junior engineers in the team, providing technical leadership and support. - 7+ years of experience in backend development with Java. - Strong proficiency in Java (11+), Spring Boot, Spring Data. - Experience with Elasticsearch, Kafka, Redis, Apache Spark. - Expertise in multi-threaded and distributed systems. - Experience with SQL and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB). - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
