Lead Backend Developer

As a Lead Solution Engineer - Backend Node.js at M2P Fintech in Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in building scalable software systems that are high-performance, highly available, highly transactional, low latency, and massively distributed. Your responsibilities will include developing scalable services and APIs using Node.js and NestJS, designing, creating, and maintaining databases in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, implementing authentication, authorization, and data validation layers, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability of backend systems, writing modular and well-documented backend code, and solving complex problems in an innovative way while taking ownership and accountability. Additionally, you will mentor and guide team members on structured problem-solving and development of best practices. To excel in this role, you should possess a B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science or any equivalent degree, hands-on experience with NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript, a strong grasp of PostgreSQL and MongoDB, experience in building REST APIs and integrating third-party services, understanding of error handling, logging, and security patterns, knowledge of microservices or modular monolith architecture, familiarity with caching, rate limiting, or observability tools, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
