Lead Automation QA Engineer

As a Lead Automation QA Engineer at our company in Gurugram, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts using Cypress and JavaScript. Your expertise will be crucial in leading and mentoring a team of automation engineers, ensuring best practices and high-quality test automation. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Cypress and JavaScript. - Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, ensuring best practices and high-quality test automation. - Develop and implement automation strategies for efficient and scalable test execution. - Collaborate with development, product, and QA teams to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases. - Ensure high test coverage and continuously improve automation frameworks. - Identify, analyze, and report bugs and issues while ensuring smooth defect lifecycle management. - Work closely with developers to implement CI/CD pipelines and integrate automation tests. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation. Qualifications Required: - 7-8+ years of experience in automation testing with a focus on JavaScript-based frameworks. - Expertise in Cypress for UI and API automation. - Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript (preferred), and related automation frameworks. - Experience in designing and maintaining test automation frameworks. - Strong logical and analytical thinking with an ability to debug and optimize test scripts. - Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation tests into workflows. - Experience with version control systems (Git) and test management tools. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams. - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.
