Role & responsibilities

Application Engineering Lead We are looking for an Application Engineering Lead with extensive experience in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large, complex programs across multiple technologies. This role requires significant hands-on experience, pre-sales expertise, and the ability to build accelerators that drive business value.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 13+ Experience in application engineering.
• Extensive experience in the insurance domain, with a deep understanding of industry specific challenges and opportunities.
• Proven experience managing large, complex programs across multiple technologies.
• Strong hands-on technical skills, with proficiency in:
• Programming languages: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, .Net
• Web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Angular, React
• Databases: SQL Server, Oracle , NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
• DevOps tools: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes..
• Microservices architecture a
• Security best practices and tools (e.g., OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS)
• Demonstrated experience in pre-sales activities, including client engagement and solution design.
• Experience in building and implementing accelerators to improve development efficiency.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience with container orchestration and serverless architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the development and implementation of large-scale, complex insurance applications.
• Oversee and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Engage in pre-sales activities, including client presentations, requirement gathering, and solution design.
• Develop and implement accelerators to streamline development processes and enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
