This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems , and real-time software-hardware integration for industrial applications. You’ll be part of automation projects that directly impact product delivery, machine control, and user efficiency. Key Responsibilities: PLC Programming & Control Systems Design, program, test, and maintain PLC control logic using platforms such as Siemens (TIA Portal, Step 7), Allen-Bradley (RSLogix, Studio 5000), or similar. Develop HMI/SCADA interfaces to allow intuitive user interaction and process monitoring. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PLC and control systems during development, commissioning, and production. Software-Hardware Integration Develop and maintain solutions that integrate custom or third-party software applications with automation hardware (e.g., sensors, actuators, drives, industrial PCs). Work with APIs, OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, and other industrial protocols to enable system interoperability. Collaborate with software developers and hardware engineers to ensure real-time and accurate system responses. Commissioning & Support Lead in the installation and commissioning of automation systems at client or production sites. Provide post-deployment technical support , diagnostics, and optimization. Work Arrangement & Travel: This is a hybrid/remote role , but applicants must be open to occasional travel to sites in Germany or regions in India for commissioning and support. A valid passport is required . Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering , Automation Engineering, Mechatronics , or a related field. 1 or 2+ years of hands-on experience with PLC programming and commissioning. Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols and fieldbus systems . Experience in integrating SCADA/HMI with PLCs and external software tools. Familiarity with programming languages like Structured Text, Ladder Logic, Python and Function Block Diagram. Proficiency in troubleshooting electromechanical systems and network interfaces. Desirable Skills (Recommended): • Knowledge of IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) platforms and data acquisition tools. • Experience with robotic automation and vision systems is a plus. • Familiarity with Python, C#, or JavaScript for writing custom integration scripts. • Understanding of security in control systems and secure data communication. • Prior experience in automotive industry environments. This role involves working on vending machine hardware and software systems , ensuring smooth communication between microcontrollers, PLCs, and Android devices. The ideal candidate will be skilled in embedded programming, debugging, and integration of real-world industrial protocols. Key Responsibilities Embedded Systems & Microcontrollers Work on ARM-based microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, and similar platforms). Develop and debug firmware for UART, RS-232/RS-485 communication. Implement CRC16, echo/ACK mechanisms, and frame parsing. Use JTAG/SWD debuggers and logic analyzers for low-level troubleshooting.
