Laundry Worker

A laundry worker's primary responsibility is to clean, dry, and fold various textile items like clothing, linens, and other fabrics. They operate laundry equipment, sort items, treat stains, and maintain a clean and organized work area. They also handle customer service, inventory, and potentially supervise other laundry staff in more senior roles. Key Responsibilities:

• Operating Laundry Equipment: This includes washing machines, dryers, and potentially dry-cleaning machines or pressing equipment.
• Sorting and Categorizing: Separating items based on fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements.
• Stain Removal: Identifying and treating stains using appropriate techniques and chemicals.
• Folding and Finishing: Folding, hanging, or packaging clean items for delivery or storage.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the laundry area and equipment tidy and organized.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies.
• Customer Service: Addressing customer inquiries and concerns, potentially handling laundry pick-up and delivery.
• Supervisory Roles: In more senior positions, overseeing laundry operations, managing staff, and ensuring quality standards.
